Q1: How does SYED Leathers compare to other brands?
Our top priority is quality in design and workmanship. Our construction methods involve reinforced seams with DOUBLE STITCHING, TOPSTITCHING and 'HIDDEN SEAM' methods. We use 6-7 stitches per inch using heavy duty, nylon-bonded thread with resistance to breakage and decay, as well as heavy-duty brass hardware zippers. All these contribute to the integrity and protectiveness of the suit. We use approximately 3.5 - 4 oz. (1.5) top grain, drum dyed U.S. made cow hide and offer a full range of colors.

Q2. How long does it take to make a SYED suit?
Please allow 4-6 weeks.
Q3. What does the full protection package include?
Full protection includes body armor at shoulders, elbows and knees constructed of high impact plastic, and lined on both sides with closed-cell foam padding. In addition, the package includes a pair of knee sliders attached with Velcro at the knees, knee expanders, back expander, Kevlar stretch panels behind the knees, under the arms, and inside the elbows as well as your choice of collar - beaded or mandrain.
Q4. What does the full protection package NOT include?
Our full protection package does not include the back protector of neck protector. These items are sold separately and are included our "options."
Q5. What if i want to choose my own options?
Our leathers can be customized to meet your needs. For instance, if you want Full protection but NO ventilation, we will adjust the price accordingly.
Q6. What style of lettering do you offer?
Our standard styles include block, script and slanted in one- color or two-color, but if you provide us with a font or logo via e-mail, fax or mail, then we can give you an estimate.
Q7. What if I need a suit in rush?
If your order can be accommodated in our production schedule, a $100 fee will be applied.
Q8. How do I get an estimate for repairs?
We can give a general idea of possible repair charges over the phone or via e-mail, however, sending the suit to us is the best way. Once we inspect it, we can call you with a more accurate estimate.
Q9. Do you only repair SYED brand leathers?
We provide repair and alteration service on all brands of leathers, not just SYED's.

Q13. How do I take care of the suit?
At least once a year, the leather should be conditioned with leather conditioner or mink oil to keep it from drying out. It's always best to hang your leathers up to dry thoroughly if they get wet from rain or sweat. A damp suit can be put it in the dryer on warm to keep it soft. A mild soap and water solution can be used to wipe down the soild leathers. They can also be professionally cleaned.
